From where did you hear/find out St. Paul College of Technology?

Bible Verse of the Day

Luke 2:16-20
“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”

girlgradHow to turn your work experiences into a college degree?

Study at the ease of your home or while you are pursuing your career.  St. Paul College of Technology is now offering distance and online learning in collaboration with St. Linus Online Institute.

Former President Fidel V. Ramos, signed into a law Executive Order 330 or the "Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program".  E.O. 330 stated that "recognized that education and acquisition of higher expertise are processes that also take place in the world of work and beyond the confines of the classroom as exemplified by the Philippine educational Placement test (PEPT), the distance education programs of pioneering higher education institution (HEIs), and the Dual Training System."

By adopting the principles of E.O. 330, you may be conferred a college degree based on your work experiences, past schooling, training, etc. provided that you have earned the required number of hours on a degree program you are applying for.  For example:

A. Credit by Acceleration Exam

We use standardized exams, proficiency assessment and other general aptitude test battery.  If you pass the test, we shall confer you the degree the same day you took the exam.

B. Credit by Work Experience

We give merits to the prior experiential learning (or self-taught learning) of the student: professionally or personally.

A degree, however, is awarded only if the acquired work credentials are equivalent to what would have been taught in a college level course and the student has sufficient, verifiable and demonstrable academic knowledge and technical skills supporting his/her claim.

C. Credit by Matriculation

If you are not interested to get your degree via "option a" or "option b" you can also do "option c": you enroll, study, pass all the requirements online then graduate.

Courses Offered:

Baccalaureate, Masteral and Doctoral Degrees in:

Social Sciences

Humanities

Communications

Business and Management

Information Technology

Science and Mathematics

1ganaWelcome to the website world of Saint Paul College of Technology a Christian school serving in Central Luzon particularly in Tarlac province. We hope you find everything you need here, but this is only a mirror image of the day-to-day of our campus life.. A visit in real time is a must.

Saint Paul College of Technology's success is essentially due to the strong, Bible-based partnerships that exist among students, teachers, coaches, and parents. We are as academically rigorous as any college school in the area, we have a long tradition of athletic success, but we excel because of the strong friendships and vibrant family life that flourish here.

Our teachers are mentors and advisers. They know each student's academic skill level, learning preference, and they teach each accordingly. In a world that changes faster than quicksilver, we believe that solid 21st-century leaders are built on a strong liberal arts curriculum-literacy enhanced by history and art, research encouraged by technology and inquiry, creative and critical thinking skills sharpened by challenging discourse. Overall, we value the moral character that emerges in our classrooms and on our courts. We believe faith is the cosmic stuff that holds body, mind and spirit together.

Saint Paul College of Technology is small enough so that each student feels at home. Then we are big enough, and programmatically rich enough, for everyone to explore their undiscovered talents, flex their intelligence, and build a unique recipe for a meaningful life. We have a saying, "as you choose, so you become." It's not just SATs, research papers, and Advanced Placement course. It is about being whole-head, heart, and soul. We think. We challenge. We believe. We live our motto - "SERVICE ABOVE SELF."

"It is okay to be smart here," is how one student explained it to me. She meant you are free to become whoever here. Nowhere else will you find a community of so willing to celebrate each other as you will at Saint Paul College of Technology.

"As you choose, so you become." I hope you will join us here. In four short years you will make decisions that will shape your character, your career, and your friends for life. I do not know of a more meaningful community of believers with whom to make those choices.

So explore here, but be sure to stop by and meet the real Saint Paul College in the far east.

Godspeed,

REV. DR. MARIO B. GAÑA
President
